![]() First and foremost, we’ve learned from internal memos that the BATFE and the U.S. The Flux MP17 has both pistol “brace” and short-barreled rifle options, but we opted for the SBR version for a couple of reasons. The time spent in development really shows. Fast-forward almost a year, and we now have a second-generation made exclusively for the Sig Sauer P320/M17. At the 2019 SHOT Show, Flux Defense made quite a splash with their automatic-deploying Glock pistol brace. This is the concept of the Flux MP17 conversion. But something slightly larger than a pistol that gives increased range and accuracy we absolutely welcome. But really, what’s the point of a rifle-sized weapon that doesn’t have the inherent capabilities of a rifle? Yeah, we think so too. I will warn you though, if you do get any of these, and like it, you'll go through a ton of ammo with a big grin on your face.Pistol-caliber carbines have experienced a huge resurgence over the last couple of years. I do ike to take the X-01 out when there's someone new to shooting with us, as it easy to get them used to a standard caliber round, up from the.22. Others will probably feel the opposite, no worries there. The Flux did not feel comfortable in my hands. The B&T, is sweet and compact, but lacks a little stability, due to brace design. For me personally, the X-01 feels the most natural, points and transitions nicely. I've shot this, along with the X-01, and B&T. The fact you can swap out the P320 FCU into theses chassis, is something few weapons can do. If there is a life on the line, I would want every advantage available. But pistol shooting a target past 25 yards unsupported, accuracy starts getting iffy for most. There are a few CQB weapons out there, they serve a purpose. For the price of the Flux Raider on GB, you could buy a complete 9mm PCC like the Grand Power Stribog A3. I think the excitement/newness of it would be very short lived. I wasn't planning on going in to a big discussion on it but since you called me an idiot and specifically asked, the above is my opinion. I didn't mean anything personal or against anyone. ![]() I was messing around in my previous post which is why I added the icon. If I were going to blow $800-$1000 on something I'd buy a whole new gun not a 1ee+ sled for a pistol. For the prices I have seen some of these things sell for on Gun Broker, I just think they are silly. If I need more firepower than what my standard CCW can muster I'm not gonna grab a Flux Raider, I'm going to grab a 223, 300 BO, or 7.62. It has a brace but if you need a brace to shoot a standard pistol you need more time at the range not a call of duty toy. It really does nothing to improve the usability of the gun itself. ![]() You didn't gain a rifle, you lost a pistol. ![]() You took a defensive pistol that was concealable and turned it in to an oversized paper weight. You add this thing to a pistol and it basically does nothing positive. ![]() ![]()
